& dave the breathers sounds like the go ... are you saying to join them together? & what happens to breathers when they cant breathe? 5squeeze.gif
We did similar to the ZXR for racing but mick did all the work & I cant vouch for what he did & how :?
Its just a clean air breather from the air box into the exhaust reed valves in the head. Blocking them makes no difference other than you don't have KLEEN air going into your exhaust to reduce emissions... Which as we are all law abidding citizens we wouldn't change, this mod is for race use only, of course...
I'm sure your 7 would have either a hose between the 2 reed vents or would have had a block of plate fitted, like mine..

Hi Pabs ... they have a standard orange globe but the lense is almost holographic in appearance.... got them at MAW casthe hill for about $35 a set... they are a little smaller than the original but not as small as some led ones..... want to be seen ya know!

How many times do you adjust the tap for popping Wattie.???. :-)
when it has a tap you can turn it on and off and hear the instant difference. ;)

none of the "oh i think it works"

but on stock pipes it does nothing...

Rob, i've had the tap on mine for 12000kms and it hasnt melted outta shape yet. the rocker cover isnt really a "hot" part of the engine, you could touch it while at operating temps.

I saw some oggies that went on the side of the engine covers...... they were on a z1000 but I assume they are available for the 750 aswell.... I thought they were a great idea because that would be the first part to scrape....

nah the 750 and 1000 have different engine casings, the Z750 oggies mount up near the radiator on the front of the cylinder bank.

THanks for the tip Rob, while I'm in here asking might as well clear up another gripe. The headlights on the Z why does only one work? I'm assured by the dealer this is standard but seems stupid to me and i reckon it looks crap. can they be modded easily to both light?

I cant see why not as both light globes are the same, but it would probably mean cutting onto the wiring harness to run from the opther globe, I havent heard of doing this!.... you are right it does look strange like one has blown!
With my fork modifications I will have a look, as I will have the whole front end apart anyway .........reports to follow! :D
