I've used both the V-Power & racing in the 7 and had no problems at all.
Incidently, I've seen a study done using a Nissan Skyline and N-10 ethanol blended fuel (10%), where through altering the ignition timing alone for the fuel they gained 11Kw

Hmmm. I put V-power racing in my zxr... it worked fine..
Although I couldn't here the engine from the doof doofing of my ipod...
As the bike was tuned with elf 102, I needed something high in octane to give similar results without spending $3 a litre...
But yes, as it appears to be the std v-power (ex optimimax) with 5% ethanol to increase the octane, it should actually be cheaper..
Does that mean you can only use V Power if you actually have an engine with a V formation??? Mad Kaw you will be doing your ZXR harm unless they bring out a petrol called Inline 4 power.
Ahh. Well that will explain the lap times then..

I use Optimax or V Power or whatever they choose to call it when I'm out at the Creek as Shell is the only servo within reasonable distance. Doesn't really seem to be any different from anything else.

it should, you are dead right.
This is one of many reasons that I do not support Shell, never have since they started telling me to get off the bike to fill up
, and the Optimax debacle......
Is Avgas $3 per litre ??

but it is $3.30 litre

by the way, the name 'Vpower' is not new, it existed in Singapore at least half a decade already.
It's just marketing, the McDonalds ad where the kids climb out of the adult bodies is from the states, the idea I mean.
