Damon, my 7 has little projectors in race glass with duct tape eyebrows like that
Dave is it possible (or worthwhile for that matter) to see if that hole on the throttle side can be put through into the airbox like a 7R?
Prob cause hassles when you start kicking Honda ars with it anyway so best forget I said anything.

RG,
Yep it will have a KSRC sticker job... Paint is too hard to fix after the inevitable...

Mike
It hasn't been that expensive so far, with the biggest outlay being the paint. E-bay has been good to me, so far.
I still neeed a 520 chain and the rear shock reco'd and that won't be cheap.

Froggy
It has a carbon fibre air box with an additional intake above the radiator.

Its got a few good bits on it, like the airbox, ohlins shock, ohlins springs, race kit igniter, revised suspension linkage, valter moto rearsets, Toby damper and a very chunky set of clip ons..

Nice job mate. I was thinking about buying a track bike after hearing about the bike at the island but now im worried I may become an alcoholic  ........ if all goes well.
Anyway, have you calmed down yet now its looking good and do you still want me to check your hot water? I will be going to RAAF Richmond in the near future and can call in.

Ya can't beat fixin up bikes, gotta love it.

Dave ya saved me sanity, I was starting to get fettling withdrawal, he he he

Status is, all is lookin good, a few laps of the local track have been succesful (tut tut tut).

Daves done a great job on the mechanics on a great budget, an even better job on the dodgy electrics and lots of fresh oil.....yum yum

Every time I turn up to finish off a few things, it just so happens a few other things need messin with, stripes tonight, fixing scratched carbon intakes tomorrow.

After workin with one of these 7's over the last few weeks, I've took a bit of a likin to em and ya pick em up for peanuts as well, maybe at the end of the year I can convince me missus into chillin out and let me throw a leg over again

If I can sneak a couple o laps at the creek on this one I may even be tempted to fark the road bike and go a tracky
More fun fixin up somethin ya don't have to rego and all that bullshit, couple o sets of tyres every few months and take it easy and enjoy the track at speed :D

Anyhow by the time Dave puts the fairings back on again she should look better, now he's just gotta get into the low 40's and I'll make him a set of carbon fairings to shave off a few more grams (better get down the gym mate to shift the kg's though  )

All for now, enjoyed it heaps Dave, wishing you all the luck mate and don't worry I know where there is a few tins of paint for touching up

Oh yeah, don't forget to tell me when it's on it's 1st day out, I'll get some bottles o Pils to break on the side
