I think it's to allow time for a fully sik burnout. Being Commodores they'll then use the remaining time to replace the rear axle and collect the thrown pistons from the carpark.

Our plan on Sunday was the pinky ribbony thingy and then home via the spurs..... me thinks chum creek may be the way home now.
