yup..i rode the 10...loved it...but thought a 12 would be better suited..to slow me down a touch, but also for the touring/2 up side of things...but then considered a 14..but i dont like them...so back to a 12..which i sat on..and wasnt that fussed...so now i dunno what to do...mind u its gunna b 2 yrs before i can get insurance neway...
It's easy mate, if your too old or don't fit a proper sports bike then get the 12, otherwise there is no substitute for the 10. They have a pillion seat, what more could you need

He, he, he.......

Read between the lines of the article and the bike that comes out best is the ZX12. The ZX14 is gutless below 5k as it has been factory crippled. The ZX10 will try and kill you at the first possible opportunity. The ZX12 is as fast as the other two and easier/better to ride.

I bought a 2006 ZX12 after having had a ZX9 - really pleased with it.

I thought exactly the same Ninjabob (and welcome)
10R was just a bit lively for me, the 14 too sanatised. (very Honda)

Mind you 12's seem to have an attraction for ditches...

Thanks for the welcome.

My Zx9 had an attraction to the German countryside which is how I ended up buying the 12 - absolutely no regrets - I am 6ft2ins and a bit lardy so the bike really suits me.

Mods done so far are :-

CRG Gold Levers - look great
Digi 8 gear indicator
Full Race Titanium Akra
Power Commander USB III

Just Dyno'd and custom map this week at DSD here in the Uk with standard filters

181.8 bhp and 100.3 ftlbs torque.

Absolutely ballistic to ride - needs a bit of muscle in the twisties but no problem keeping up with the latest litre bikes - also one of the last 50 to be sold in the Uk - £7200 instead of £9350.
