i moved 4km from work..so i ride a pushy mostly..saves me abt $60 a week on fuel, not to mention the ute hasnt needed a service in ages!!
if i lived further out, id consider a scoot (wendy rides a 500cc TMAX yamy scoot- that thing moves, but is cheap as shit to run) ...for a few $$ a week to run....hmm
use to commute on the blade during summer, but that was costly..tyres,oil/servicing, km etc..
oh, and i agree with IK..i always wave at kids etc ...u never kno, they might have a hot milf mum!!

Scooters are fun! I know, I had ridden one for 3 yrs
Went back from the track yesterday a group of 5 scooters gave me a nod. What a comradeship
Was looking around and at $2.5k the honda looks nice. Anyone has ridden this? How much fun would it be riding the black spurs at $8 for fuel!!
Rego for 2 bikes would be a killer tho

I was contemplating getting a cheap bike to commute to work, but wasn't worth it.
Too many bikes get flogged from where I park to consider it.
My car's worth more stolen, so she get's driven to work everyday.

Folks, wave or nod to every rider you see regardless of what they ride (except of course dickhead gang members) because ultimately we're all each others comrades in arms. Every new scooter registered has the same needs as a sportsbike when it comes to roads, road rules and government tolerance. There's power in numbers and we all vote
If they wave back, it'll make you feel good.
If they don't wave it just means that you're a better person than they are - and that should make you feel good too.
Oil prices are on the way up and the higher they go, the more popular bikes will become. One day we'll all be sooooo happy we'll give each other high fives as we pass each other in our dedicated motorcycle-only lanes
Time for my pill.
