no shit sherlock about Yoshi pipes , so what gave you this idea ?Saki wrote:u got it all wrong jon. I am not trying to struggle to get massive power from a 600. I want a 600, and i wnat to put a louder exhaust on it, that create more power, I have read and seen a few tests with Yoshi pipes and they actually decreased power! Plus if i am going to put a louder pipe on it i want something that creates power! not just make a noise and lose power!!!
did you miss this oneSaki wrote:I have been told a few times a yoshi pipe is prob the best option!
or how about this one ?Johnnie5 wrote:want a decent sound and across the range improvement then go with the ARATA and PCIII
Aussie Ninja wrote:How about a full titainium system and ecu from Arata. They are claiming a 20hp increase according to their dyno chart.
Yoshi pipes are very open and will give a top end peak HP increase , but this is at the expense of bottom end and midrangeSocialSecurity wrote:i doubt very much there is anything wrong with yoshi pipes.... unless for some reason the pipe (or full system?) threw the tune out so much that it made less power.... but theres no way in hell any aftermarket pipe/system will ever make less power than OEM with the right tuning
Gee I dunno about that, I went for a ride with one of the dudes from our local dealer.... he had the demo, I had my bike....the only difference between the two was the demo had a slip on micron.... mine is completely stock..... and no matter how much he rang its neck, I would just pull away and by a fair bit...... Then again, as you mention ideal tuning... you'd need a PC III for thatSocialSecurity wrote:you wont lose anything you could notice down low with pretty much any slip on pipe vs stock pipe - with ideal tuning of course
