dumb question
pre purchase ticket or on the day
god i hate ques and bad weather !!!!

i suppose race finishes about 4.00pm

and then another hour or two back to cranbourne or
do you have another alternative route

im just trying to figure out best options at the moment
and only guessing that there will be 50 speed cameras
every 10 kms and travelling at 90ks

mick
I have been buying ticket on the gate. That allows me to look up the sky in the morning to decide whether going or looking at the tellie

The return route basically is the reverse. You could always go via the highway but then again so many police and so straight of a line is not a good combination. Not that it slows some people down . Having done that few time I wouldn't bother honestly.

I usually go down for the day on..Saturday
wave at the crowds in Crannie
and enjoy the ride down with the other riders
...thousands of 'em
and watch it on teev on Sunday (if I have time)

Its a dawdle from Hampton
leave home at 09.00 at the circuit
around 10.30
or join the GP run leaving Crannie at 10.00

with MotoGp though, you get to leave yr bike in the
special parking area
just past the circuit entrance
(unlike the Supers where you ride in and park anywhere)

hth

cheers
How is the parking ... are the bikes safe from thieves taking parts or worse the whole bike?
mate i once parked my bike with my gloves in my lid, hanging off the mirror...and the key in the ignition...and the bike was still there at the end of the day....with the 50,000 other bikes...

u may have a nice bike, but im sure if they look hard there will be a nicer one to steal....
mind u, would u try stealing a bike at a bike event with 90+ thou bikers??

it'll be safe mate...
