oops should have added that one too.
Chuffed is onto it here, rack with padding, gives em something to hang onto and also stops em falling off the back when ya mono

Hahahaha just put a wicked picture in my head,
Any of the ppl I know that give me hassles about murdercycles being strapped/tied to a rack and forced to pillion with me.... F*N WICKED !!!
Espec if they were drugged and woke up there half way around a roundybout, would want a spewbag on their mouth but.. YUCH !!

This image is going to keep me amused for days, THANKS CHUFFED !!!

Steph pillions really well, although I prefer no pillions...

I think the trick is for pillions NEVER to adjust their seating whilst cornering.... that makes me v angry....

For those who want to change the pillions sitting position, the Move footpegs could do the trick! They work for both rider and pillions!

Only one tip Big Fella , brake real hard and late for every corner with a female pillion  Note : Stiffen up your arms before you hit the anchors , the rest will stiffen up on its own .
Make the ride only short so you can take said pillion home to massage anything that has stiffened up . :P

This will be your shoulders by the way .

PS. ask Rossi about taking pillions  He and Linda are unreal .

Yep not really the ideal pillion mount. Having doubled a 95 odd kg Pom (or is that a 95kg odd Pom) back down the Putty Rd in half dark and occasional rain I can attest to their lack of pillion friendliness.

Unfortunately so can Damon the poor bastard, who spent a good hour and a half with a busted up knee sitting on it and Madkaw who was the poor bugger who had to lift him off it.

The first thing Damon said that didn't start with an F was that he kept feeling like he was gonna slide off the back.
Mate, I new I should of had a few more pies at that serco, 95kg pwhha!

Your lucky it warn't just me knee that was stiff cus ya would have had a big dent in ya middle back from how farken high and how much forward pressure that farkin matchbox they call a seat causes

It's the first ride on a 10 and it was an unforgetable one, probably due to the shock I ws in, "She'll be right mate" and yes some say I can be odd :)

Not the best experience, he he

And Cheers m8  You guys were a couple o top blokes

the most important thing to remeber when pillioning is "IS THIS GUNNA GET ME LAID??"

My wife said it is much better on the back now as she can relax a lot more now that she doesn't have to worry about continualy sliding foward, she says she can go back to the way it was 20 years ago, when it was not unusual for her to fall asleep while we were out riding.

bah!
The 10r is fine for pillioning. As long as they manage to hang on anyway.
I have a mate who loves to be pilly on my 10, we do 2up highway wheelies and navigate city traffic as well.
Obviously it's not so comfy back there, and if you want to do twisties at and feel safe your going to have to SET IT UP FOR A PILLION first.
That means most importantly wind on some preload!

oh, you won't be falling aaleep on the back of a 10, unless it is stationary and your arse goes numb.
Check out what this guy has done :) http://www.zx-10r.net/forum/showthread.php?t=24054

Use your thighs rather than your hands to hold on
On the odd occasion I have been pillion on the back of the BF's Hornet, I have copped much whinging afterwards for doing just that. I guess that is a personal rider issue and if you dont like something, you should let the pillion know (preferably before you start).

(I don't suppose riding dressage for several years has anything to do with it? )

yup..all these issues plus more!!

i wrote a fair bit on this topic b4 when i use to pillion every time i rode..i had a few pillions who loved it..Chloe isnt so keen (the xmas ride turned into a shit fight)...

nuthin worse than a pillion who moves around mid corner, or wont sit still....

as for being a pillion..i rode around town dressed like this (see attached)...standing up & making lewd movements, and basically not holding on all the way round town...tho i was VERY experienced at being a "pillion bitch" for 6 months...
