I actuallly thought the aussie team looked to be having a lot of trouble with reading the game and although they had all that possecian they didnt seem to have a striker up front go figure he put them on the field for the last ten minutes.
The result was good but it didnt look convincing to me unless he has something up his sleeve for brazil.
It was also very hot conditions to be playing in just have to wait and see what happens, I personally prefere night games.

welli had a great day..mate tipped me 3 winners on the ponies ($130 up from a $5 bet) ...Raiders beat the Doggies (get that up yas Dan & Rob)....local pub had $4 pints (real ones with handles) and i watched our boys win...mind u i was a grumpy bastard for 84min...
possesion and a clean passing game doesnt win games...u have to farking shoot at goal..in the 1st half the aussies had a weight of ball, but rarely had a crack from outside the box..more shots required-look what happened when Timmy had a go!!
go u good things....Viduka is in bad form , and kewell is still unfit...i think we could suprise a few teams if they find themselves....
GO BOYS

yea...Kalac is a carrot!!..he deserves to be dropped...off a bridge...
he made several cock ups which cost us a win, and almost advancement...he better be buying all those boys a few beers i reckon..
the boys showed good spirit , but were patchy at best...good luck for round 2 boys!! ...italy wont be easy...unlike our little italian mario, whos VERY easy...
im up at 6.30am, so i shouldnt be late for work..bit too early for a beer u reckon??

i got to work an hour and a half early to have a bbq and watch the foozball/soccer.
and promptly got assraped by a ref who cant count to 2, and red cards after the bloody whistle.

Never too early for a beer Neka!!!!
Go the aussies!!!....
the ref lost control of the match though, and he missed a few fouls also.
someone kick Kalac in the ass!!! was nervous last time as well, Schwarzer is a better keeper than him without doubt.
bring on the italians, who have all the pressure on them

Bring back Mark asap, Kalac has got nuttin........
I felt so nervous with him in goal. Kalac is so lucky, if we lost that he would be on his way to South America stowed away in a container ship, as he would get massacred by the press and fans if he came back to Oz.
Bring on Italy, best thing is there will be no pressure on us, and all the pressure on Italy.
Imagine if we beat Italy, pandamonium!!!!!!

my fave's are:
"The Brazilians were South American, and the Ukrainians will be more European." - Scott Chipperfield.
All that remains is for a few dots and commas to be crossed." - Marco Bresciano
"I took a whack on my left ankle, but something told me it was my right." - Harry Kewell.
