Got the pushy out of retirement last night by giving it a serious clean up .. .lube the cables, new tubes etc . ...

Was gonna take her out on a maiden voyage tomorrow morning .. but forecast for 4 farkin degrees!!!!!

I haven't been out on the bike before 7am in months.
Brrrrrrrrrrrrr. It was freezing this morning. There was ice on the car windshield.

Skins. Thermals. Balaclava. Neck warmer. Shirt. Hoodie. Leathers. Off I go...

HOLY CRAP - still got my vented summer gloves on!
It was like thousands of ninjas and pirates were having their final battle for supremacy under the skin of my fingers... Until they all died from hypothermia and left my hands numb and dead. Was fun braking and clutching with blocks of ice where my hands once were!

4 weeks gone ......!!! yayayayayaya!!! ;o)

Hope everyone hasn't put on as much weight as i have; and is still going strong!

yup ... 4 weeks gone .... and I would say 8 to go yeah? . .

I think the goal is 12 weeks .. then its pretty smooth sailing from there.

As for the weight . . go stick ya head into the shrinking leathers thread .... I did that, but havnt taken it any further yet .. . Im such a wuss, its just so cold to go out on the pushy

Hey guys, good to see it all going good, and for those who have fallen off the wagon (such as myself) dust yaself off and try again.


I have just completed the move back to Qld, new job, new woman after quite a long time, I know I am amazed too after the hell of the last one. I knew I would find a good one eventually

I rode the trusty olde 9R from melb, and it was friggin cold through NSW until the Qld border, dodging skippies and other misc' animals, trucks and caravans is always fun...not! It is such long boring ride taking the fastest way up, rather take an extra week and stay off the hwys and meet everyone on the way. But the bike was on an ureg permit and I was on a deadline so there was no option. There was always crating and freighting but that made too much sense

Fell short by 100kms for the farrider iron butt rider thing, damn i am sore.


So once the dust has settled I will set a new date, it will happen
