Dave - if you get stuck just send me your old loom, I can restore it. Seen heaps worse over the years :lol: Made a few looms for various bikes and repaired heaps.

Couple of the Tamworth VJMC guys recommend ..Greg Cook in South Gippsland Vic 0407212038.He apparently advertises in Just Bikes under Storks Wiring Services,or similar.
He did a harness for an SL125 restorer, with correct wiring colours and connectors for $120 delivered to Tamworth.I know I'll be calling him when the S1 is due.

I will be up there in November mate, but only as far as the Sunshine Coast :lol:

that tip from Stu could be worth checking out though - most punters run a mile from electrics, I love 'em ....if this bloke can knock up a complete loom posted for $120 that is a great price.

Was worth a try Kev thanks any way...I'm still waiting for a reply from my dude in the US.....the time difference really sucks.

Well all's good...looks like I've sourced the correct harness that even has the OEM part number attached.
Just got to be patient now and wait for the delivery from the states.

That's good news on the chrome bits chimp...appreciate you helping me out with that. :kuda:

Here's a few more pics...with the newly fitted fork ears and headlight.
Pretty much all buttoned up except for the wiring harness,tins and chrome bits,front guard,grab rail and chain guard.
