Had the 05 zx12r out to 1 test and tune
ran 11.8 at 142mph and thats 3rd gear, so im pretty sure that it'd do the restricted 300k's without a drama. I'm to much of a whimp to look down at the speedo at those speeds.

270 indicated, 97 ZX9R. Speedo overreads though. Still, fairly quick and it had more in it, I ran out of road and I had a tankbag on which stopped me getting down out of the wind.

1996 ZZR600 which are a heavy pig of a bike i've seen at 230kph indicated, Melbourne-Geelong freeway pre speed cameras, backed off at that, had a little more so maybe 240 flat stick, but yeah, speeding is irresponsible so it wasnt me riding my bike.

Damn all you big capacity riders (all of you) hehe

Have seen 160 in other places

Top gear rev limiter at WSID....... shortly after bang, ratlte, rattle, rattle. The result of overboosting. I can't remember the speed but i assure you it was much less than the cost of the rebuild.

Well I used to see 270 kph (indicated) regularly on the old CBR1000FH, (10'500 rpm / 6th) one of the good things about living in the outback

.
I guess if you believed the
statistics, doing that speed every friday arvo for around 3yrs should mean I am dead

. Well Fu*k me they are
WRONG. LIE'S, DAMN LIE'S & STATISTIC'S Since moving to the coast the best I have seen is 240kp/h @ 10'500rpm / 4th on the ZRX, never opened out 5th gear

.
Bloody cop's have me too paranoid (licence vulnerable) to actually enjoy my life
