Yep I'm going to see it Saturday as well.

Not really lucky or special.

It was offered to all team green Australia members.

http://www.kawasaki.com.au/kawasaki-tea ... -australia

Tickets available until the day before Sat 11th

No need to keep it secret from other forum members that want to see it too.

Just noticed this on the bottom of the Golden Ticket (actually plastic ticket seeing anyone can get one)

"Please print and bring your tickets to the event entrance. This
is a Kawasaki Team Green Australia members only event.
No test rides on the day, no deposits taken."

How disappointing, I was expecting a test ride

Got some good juice on this bike - and the H2 - today.....

went into CMC and spoke to the boss - Mike Houston. Great bloke and loves a chat with the whisperer every now and then ;) ..... I just put the squeeze on him for everything he knew about this release.....

anyway, Mike was at Intermot last week and saw the H2R in the flesh. He reckoned that Kawasaki had by far the best display and the number of punters around the H2R was insane......

He said it looked nothing like any Kawasaki model he had seen before - the finish is just outstanding but has to be seen in the flesh to really appreciate. Which a few of you guys will be doing this Saturday - lucky bastards.......

Onto the more important things like costs and availability. The H2R - he expects to come in around the 80g mark. The H2 - around the 50g mark. The costs being talked about at Intermot - was 35k EURO for the H2. These prices (estimated) seem consistent with a shipping invoice doing the rounds on Facebook at the moment - showing a delivery invoice for US$68K for a H2R...........

So there goes any chance whatsoever of me getting a H2. At 50 large.....its just not doable. :( epic sadface....

In any case - even Kawasaki Oz have no real idea about delivery timeframes for the H2R - or even how many examples are coming to Oz anyway. There may be as few as 10, given to specifically-appointed dealers. The H2 is not even on the radar for Oz-delivery dates as yet.

It also looks like the H2R/H2 production run - is going to be a single, model-specific run only. No updates next year or the year after - its this single global production run - and thats it. Still to be confirmed - but that is the early mail at this stage.........

The bike that will be on display in Sydney this weekend - is the only example in the country at the moment. If you guys are really lucky, old mate Kawasaki CEO might even fire it up for you :kuda: as he does here......

https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=73 ... =2&theater

thanks to Murray Sayle for that video..........and its really cool when your local dealer rings the current Advertising Manager for Kawasaki Australia (being one M.Sayle) to try and dig some more information straight from the horses mouth for you. Alas, Muz was otherwise engaged and we had to settle for leaving a message..............but Mike has my mobile number so if anything else comes to light I will let you all know

Wish I could be in Sydney this Saturday - enjoy the show you bastards
