They sure are cashing in on us nostalgic people. But meh! They did put on a sensational show.

And Evermore were a great support band. Split enz went off though. Tim Finn was on the gas, and jumped around all night. The music was faithfull to the original plan and was obviously well rehearsed. They only forgot the words to one part of one song (neil Finn).
They Opened with Shark Attack!
Leaky boat made the crowd go off, as did History never repeats. But I got off on all the older stuff. They still finished some of there songs with the signature off key piano stroke which was mint
They only did one encore, but they played for nearly two hours with fcuk all break time. So they still kicked arse for old dudes. Our seats were great, and the concert would rate as up there with Simple minds in 1983, and the Australia Day Concerts at Endeavour field in Cronulla. INXS, Aussie Crawl, Angels, Radiators, Enz, Guru's, Mentals, Hunters et el!

loved Split Enz, Hated crowded House. Tim rocks in my opinion. Neil is too serious for me.

Tim was really energetic, and kept doing his signature Split Enz dance moves including the little kinda jog on the spot he used to do

They even had similiar style suits to the old ones. It was faaarkin great.

I have all their songs going around in my head all day. time to pull out the best of CD from the rack and give it a turn i reckon.
I'm looking forward to the Countdown concert later in the year as well. we blagged tickets for the mosh pit, so we can take our bay city rollers scarves and waves them from side to side!!!!!
It's gunna be piss funny in the mosh pit.......were taking Mum (63)

Although, judging by the age of the crowd last night...she will fit right in
