If life is like a box of chocolates, why do I always get the laxettes?

While I understand the utility of these things, I just cannot stand how they look...

The missus winges that she has to wear the big rucksack when we tour, but so be it - no boxes or panniers for the mighty ZZR. I've seen a tank bag that I don't mind because it clips onto a ring around the filler - I could think about that, but...

Did the same on my ZRX. Just watch how much you put in the box. Those ventura racks aren't very strong- on the way back from Port Douglas, one mount snapped completely and the other 3/4 of the way through. Lucky I didn't lose the case which had my laptop inside! :(
2 X ZRX1200R 4 X ER6N, GT550, 1988 ZX-10, 4 X GPZ250R, 4 X GPZ900R and GPZ750R :) Yeah I like Kawasakis.

This purely for urban security, and most times I travel light and anything heavy or weird shaped I put the seat pad on and secure them there, I too wasn't a fan of the LOOK but I am growing used to it :)

+1 on that. My Givi box and rack on my ZZR gave up the ghost on the way to Phillip Island 2 years ago. I had to tie the box and broken bits on to my back seat until I could put in a temporary fix for the return journey. I have since welded extra supports on the brackets. I had oveloaded the box.
