I am just putting the feelers out there for full-time, part-time or apprentice work as I know word of mouth is stronger than any application.
Some basic info about me:
I live in Ryde, Sydney, and plan to be here for at least the next 4-5 years
I am hard-working
I can do physical or office work as I've been an English teacher, phone monkey, hay pitchforker, mining cleaner for Boral, bar manager, waiter/barman, gaming/TAB attendant, Liquor Land employee. (I am 36 and travelled around a lot in my younger days.)
I have the ability to speak well and convincingly to anyone
I have no license for a while but public transport, my bicycles and my feet have never let me down yet.
Please let me know if you know of anything.

Re: I'm looking for work
I have a job interview tomorrow afternoon for a manager of a franchise outlet called Extreme Pita. The first thing I thought was PITA (if you know what that stands for!) but they sell pita bread sandwiches, kind of like a healthy fast food outlet. Fingers-crossed!

Re: I'm looking for work
The interview went well but the classified was misleading. Poor pay, casual and not the manager. I'm going to call it a lie. I spent 6 hours yesterday scrolling through ads, writing coverletters, adjusting resumes and calling people so at this rate of intensity, it's just a matter of time before I'm working, well, hopefully anyway.

Sorry to hear the job was not what you expected. Have been in a similar spot.
Sometimes you have to take whatever comes your way. Its from these things that bigger+better opportunitites come.
All the best.
