Well I bought this bike second hand I don't know if the springs are original, the mechanic said "gee she's stiff" when he pushed down on the handlebars.

Same as my 750 .... preload wound down full, and same for rebound .. 
I've spent over 40 years of my life riding bikes .... the rest of it, I wasted ..
If it's got wheels or tits, it's gonna give you trouble !

If the rebound is full thats why its stiff..
