Re: SBK ZX10R triple?
PS sorry if my last comment come out wrong . Suzuki does have a power adder or less switch , it just retards timing or adds some when needed

Re: SBK ZX10R triple?
Not saying necessarily its a bad thing, I think that TC 2 & 3 are designed more or less for low grip condition/situations.Kermit wrote:TC 2 or lower with full power in the dry I find its too intrusive in the mid range, when TC kicks in; the bike looses power like timing has been retarded.
To give an example, I had set TC2 in RNP on a damp day, coming up hill in off camber bend, the rear began to slip and I felt the TC kick in.
If you go WOT in first & second in the dry with TC 2 set or above you feel the bike pulling timing in the mid range. In TC 1 you don't get this happening.
For what its worth I don't think the scale and programming of the 636s TC would be anything like Sykes bike, I'm 110 ponies shy.
Stop going out on three day adventures ya bastad, come out for a ride and have a go.Wattie wrote:Hmmmm next time you are out wilbo way we'll have to check it out

Mate , once you get used to it , it will be the most wonderful thing you could ever find in modern machinery to make things 'bullet proof'

Ouch!
TC can't help when you slam the throttle shut at full revs while cranked.
He wasn't the smoothest dude out was he?
