Be wary of any standing poses in yoga with a foot injury, yoga is low impact but can involve considerable demands on tendons/ligaments.

Another thing to be wary of is to always listen to your body and take the advice of eastern/yoga/group practitioners with a grain of salt. They can be gung ho with advice and methods.

Worth a try though the benefits can extend way beyond localized physical strength to resetting biorhythms and breathing, digestion etc - good stuff.

^^^ wot tim said.

Sadly at this point just changing weight distribution on the foot is enough to aggravate it. Hopefuly the surgeon will be able to fix it after easter.

cant even get my motorbike boots on now.... :(

Dammm... forgot about this thread! I'm somehow down to 71Kg! No idea how really... I mean, I did go back to the gym once my collarbone was mended 'cause it needed some phisio but it started giving me even more grief after a couple of months. At that stage I was 74.5-75Kg... but now, after just over a month, I somehow dropped another 3.5K!! Not complaining at all! :kuda: :kuda:

Having been this light since my early 20s...

You've probably lost muscle mass Ed.....

I've actually been training for tough mudder and have put on 4-5 kg of muscle mass so I'm now sitting at 95kg!!!![FLUSHED FACE]
Ideally I'd like to shred a little bit more and sit at around 91-92kg with 10-12% body fat. If I can find some more time to get on the treadly I'm picking up later in the week it shouldn't be too hard.

Mind you with full time work and two young kids its tuff to find time.

Speaking of tough mudder anyone else doing it?

I wish  but would have to train for years to get anywhere near the fitness required, the only exercise I am getting at the moment is 60 - 80kms a week on the treadly, as it is I have to push to find time for that between the business & the family its bloody hard

You'd be right Rob. Especially if your not going for an individual time.
Its 15km but the reality is there is lots of recovery time while your waiting to go over the next obstacle.

If you can do ten chin ups, ten push ups and jog 3kms without dying you will be able to do it.

Plus 60-80km on the bike is plenty.
Come down and do it in Vic with our team.

I am currently at 124kg. :? I think I would be a bit quicker if I lost a few, but it sounds like too much hard work. I'll see how I go in the 4 hour, that might motivate me a bit.

I'm the same Rob, I had knee surgery earlier this year and I made a deal with the surgeon that I could still play basketball but I wasn't allowed to run or jog for fitness.
I had to ride the pushy instead.

It will be a challenge no doubt but I don't think it will be as full on as you think. That is unless you are going for a individual time.
In which case you don't get released with the masses you have staggered starts with like minded people.
