1st generation bikes

Post by mick12 »

Ok people will soon need a new project this time i am looking for a FIRST GENERATION bike from the 90's have one from the 80's & 00's need to find something to fill the gap so many models originated before or after and had long runs with overlap and upgrades.Want a sports bike only and dont really care what make but must be 1st gen only. Whats out there think hard.Had a quick look last night but not much was born in the 90s most just got upgraded or were cruisers
If it aint broke don't fix it just gain more horsepower

what do you mean by first generation??

i would suggest the yamaha yzf-750r of the 90's would be a nice bike to hunt for if you were to stray from the green blooded breed....

I suppose you count zx7r as upgrade from zxr750, so my favorite is out.

B1 model zx9r. 1994 was the first go at a 900 (unless it superseded the gpz900 then im entirely incorrect).
At worst it was the first crack at the zx9r.

1st gen R1 will be worth a few bob in years to come.

So will the first-gen CBR900.

Both are 90's children.

How about an F1 ZX6R? It totally rewrote the 600cc supersport class
