Hey guys.
I am looking hard for the new front-end for my bike and i got some nice deals just need to check wich i am gonna use.
i got another qeustion, saw a couple of conversions whit a honda VFR 95'' mono arm. they put it in a zxr 750 and it just looks sick!
does any of you have any expirience whit this conversion, it was just a matter of spacers they said.

I've seen a few and it would seem an easy conversion, but as you say, getting the wheel spacing right was the hard bit..

I put a VFR 800 Vtec single sider in my ZXR & it was a big job, I had to machine 8 different areas to get the chain run spot on & the wheel dead centre.
The 750 arms are narrower at the pivot than the 800s so it'll probly be easier to use one of them, they just look too spindly for my liking.

What did you think about the handeling of the bike after the conversion?
and what kind of front wheel did you use, the same as the VFR800 then or the orignal? i was thinking that it might look a bit strange, orignal on front and a honda at the back? what do you guys think?

No difference in the handling, as I mentioned on ASF, Ducati & Honda wouldn't have used them if they didn't work.
I didn't like the Honda wheels so I converted the hub from 4 bolt to the Triumph type centrelock so I could use a Daytona rear wheel, then I converted the front end to use a Speed Triple front wheel because I couldn't handle having mismatched wheels.
You are a bit blessed because your model 9 has more room between the uprights at the swinger pivot point so you won't hafta do as much machining.
I've got a Triumph Sprint SSSA here (which are the widest of all the SSSAs) & it's 280 wide at the pivot, the 9 C frame is 270 between the uprights so whatever arm you use it'll be a piece of cake to fit up.
