Troy Bayliss experience

Post by sillywilly »

Just got back from the troy bayliss 2up ride at broadford. All i can say is wow what a day Troy was a awesome bloke signed everything for everyone had a chat 2 everyone a real down 2 earth great bloke .And the 2up ride farkn hell i did a 1:00 lap and the fastest person did a 59sec lap after 3 laps u could hardly hold on what a rush I'm not sure if this is a fast time around broadford but it felt scary fast ha ha much harder hanging on when u can't use your legs it was maddest thing I've ever done i highly recommend this .Just a few blokes before me troy crashed 2up they were both ok but what a story to tell the kids lucky bastard .Anyway if u get a chance to do this do it. I can't believe someone can ride this fast what an aussie legend awesome :kuda:

Mate 60 sec around broady is FAST !!!!
lap record there is 56.9
Other than a legit racer you won't find anyone doing those times as a rider never mind two up. He had a bit of banter with Maxy today as he did a 60 flat two-up with a young super sport rider on the back earlier this year.

My girl did it at PI with him last year she just wanted to jump straight back on. He's a weapon on a bike and a top bloke to boot.
Hope you get some good pics and video.

Yeh we are actually going to get one as an 18th birthday present for my brother in law.

Might seem exy but well worth the coin. He was cooking a rear tyre in ten laps at the island.

Im wondering if you could take a pasenger on a ride day. My Mrs would love it, she has ridden with me for over 30 years & would love to cut some quick times around the Creek with me. This year being the first time I wasnt racing in the Barry Sheene, I took her for the parade laps & she was telling me to go for it.???? ;)

Used to be able to at lunch time at trackdays in previous years. But not since ECRD's took over.

mm.. been a while since i posted on here - but don't they run a pillion session on the afterburner track day, which is the day after the superbikes are on at the island in march? at least, that was what i did a few years back when i still had the bike. after doing that two up session at the island, nothing else comes close, not even EC.
