Insurance

Post by MrFaulty »

Finally got word from GIO today that I will have confirmation within 5 working days as to whether my bike will be reaired or written off - apart from one rude bitch who I initially spoke with straight after the accident, everyone else has been helpful and friendly, now just hope they don't argue about replacement of panels etc if they decide to repair it!

My experience has been they can be buggers until liability is sorted out, then it usually goes smoothly. Problems can happen if they want to write it off and you want it repaired. We've usually gone through mechanics or panel beaters and they are good at helping with that.

All sorted, I am getting paid out so that I can look after the repairs myself as they are concerned about the front brake lever which has been quoted!
