Re: Rant away.....
My rant...
Moving house, but ue to a quick sale, we will have up to a month at my father in laws house (he wont be there).
disconnect Gas = $42
Disconnect elec= $48
Telstra are a joke, to relocate my phone = $59 or $129 OR $299, but they can't tell me until they try to reconnect the phone to the next house.
On top of that there is an extra $55 charge to move the ADSL2 plan also.
If i opt out all together i get charged a early exit of $55. Which is cheaper than relocate.
However, if i leave i loose my email address, and most probably will not get the same deal upon re-connection.
So they offered to hold my account open untill i get to our new home, but he presto, i still have to pay the full service fee for the month im not using it, AND have to pay the re-connection aswell.
Goddam assholes!

Rant away.....
in future when creating email addresses for yourself, don't use email address supplied to you by your ISP (Internet service provider). But rather create with gmail, hotmail, etc, that way you never loose your email address regardless if you change your ISP. I can't stand Telstra. You pay so much for so little. I will never use them again. As for other utilities they are a joke. Money to disconnect what. Basically just to come out and turn a tap and read the meter, that's it.Wattie wrote:My rant...
