Other than being irresponsible and unsafe, it's a gainst the law.

Imagine if someone else, who was doing an equally unsafe and irresponsible thing, at the same time, on the same street, smashed into this clown. How would he be having to confront the parents and families of the twelve passengers he killed....

Laws that are there to protect no only these sorts of knobs, but the average punter.

You can't justify stupidity.....and he's a class idiot!

My two cents.....

So, Stu, you've never had a speeding ticket? Never done over the speed limit? If so, then you are a Hypocrite too. Best you not come riding with me then, I break the law minute to minute. ;)

Yes, I have, when I was younger....but not when I had my licence suspended, driving an unregistered car, with twleve other people in it.....put it down to a life lesson for the boy and we can agree to disagree.

Strika, correct me if I'm wrong, but the initial discussion was not about speeding.....it was focused on a unlicenced driver, driving an unregistered car on a public road, with twelve people in a tray.....

Of course it is, same as a Jew mocking Hitler in front of the Gestapo, anyone who does things like this in the hub
of totalitaria must surely expect to get caught!
In a fair society, if he makes the news, then he "should" be given the opportunity to make a public
statement of his own ;)
The only version we get is some wanker journo's version of events, case in point..."Huge Croc in Darwin Loungeroom"
my friggin arse, it was small and on the porch ffs!!!

Funny though if anything in a car runs into a bike many jump all over it (no matter who is at fault) I know the big word if, but if he had killed a motorcyclist you could guarantee he would be called more than a goose by many here, but funny how we have double standards depending on how it applies.

For the record he is a goose, just because I did it in my youth doesn't mean I am not a goose for doing it (I never did it unlicensed in an unregistered car) just because I got home alive doesn't mean I am not a goose.

Yes I fracture the occasional law and yes I am a goose that also qualifies as a hypocrite.

Driving is such a large part of todays society. So much so that it requires it's own specifically trained police. You won't like to hear it but like it or not I believe they serve a purpose in HELPING to keep the roads safer, but then like everything else there's the good and the bad.

The more I meditate and contemplate your question, the more I over analyse and complicate my answer. You've managed to temporarily confuse me. Fark you.

Maybe I should get back to basics.Highway Patrol are police that focus on traffic. That's my honest opinion. But once again, we/i have strayed off our original topic. :?

It was a simple question, with a rather convoluted answer. Which in itself answers my original question to you. But a fantastically politically correct answer which I admire you for!! Well worded!!!

Just cos you old farts have done similar to what he did, doesn't mean we can't call him a goose... It means we can call you one too...

Ive done dumb shit in the past, and I'll do dumb shit in the future, it's inevitable, doesn't excuse me and doesn't mean I can't call someone else a goose... That's backwards logic... If anything it helps me identify geese because I am one!!!
