I like the look of these but want to get white faced guages.

Pressurised forks were a thing of the early 80's. Basically saved on adding or reducing fork oil and allowed variation. All forks have an air gap - air compresses oil does not.
I'll go for the original springs at the moment and see how they go.
Fork seals arrived this afternoon and since rain is forecast for tomorrow arvo I'll put them together then. Will use 20w oil cause I'm larger than the average gorilla.

Is the speedo drive the same? Kawasaki generally use 2:1 drive. They do look good and would suit the twin lights I've got coming. I trust Acewell though to work so I'll go with that unless you get these and tell me otherwise.

As for 20c parts.....you can preload the springs with 20c pieces. No more than $1.20 per leg.

yeah i sort of guessed what you meant when you said it.. my bike is now just a frame with a shed full of bits in boxes. im umming and arghing about the centre stand. and whether to use 2 pack or acrylic, im spraying the frame, and wheels in gunmetal - swingarm and fork lowers in black , tank and guard maybe white with a fat blue strip ( ive taken a leaf out of chip fooses book and sketched up the colour scheme). my friend painted his frame in 2 pack and it filled the frame number. has anyone else had this happen.

Forks done - kept the balance pipe.
I'm keeping the frame in its natural state until I have got the whole thing completed. Same with the paint. Once completed the whole thing will be pulled down and given a healthy dose of pretty. I'm not sure if the outcome will be classified as Rat, Brat, Cafe or fighter but its going to be different.
Too many times I have got myself caught up with aesthetics and ended up chasing my tail and things never get finished.
I always Liked the John Player Special colours of the era but instead of gold I'm going for copper as subtle highlights.

Not a big fan of that seat you linked to as it doesn't follow the lines of the tank and frame. Doesn't look right to me but each to their own.

Just noticed another link i had in that post didnt paste in, but good point on that seat. i only used that as a method of fabricating a seat /tail. i dont particularly like the stock unit but may take lines of the tank and meld into a design i can fabricate. im always open to ideas

Looking for best price on DIY braided lines for the front end and a decent master cylinder at the moment....mmm Brembo. will sort that out when I get the lights, guages and bars in place. Switchgear after that.....

Adrian let me know the size for the braided lines, we do them in house & can source many colours & standard clear braided line as well as alloy fittings etc..... heaps cheaper than the ebay shite & made to measure

At this stage the 2 from the splitter down to the callipers remains as standard - 560mm eye to eye. Banjo fittings are 15 degree with one end bent in the horizontal plane and the other bent on the vertical....does that make sense?
Clear stainless would be good.
Are they ISO / JA approved?

Why keep the spliter Wobbles ? Brake switch ?

Neater. Its mounted on the lower triple clamp and will give the lines a symmetrical look.
Thought about just 2 lines instead of 3 but with the splitter then the arc and length of the lines will look more appealing.
Aesthetics and thats about it.

how much are you talking about for the lines as i would be happier to replace the stock units as well?

For ISO etc I can do pressed fittings in stainless rather than alloy.
Send us a PM when you get all 3 measurements worked out + info on banjo direction 45deg 90 deg etc + we can do slight blends in the stem,
I will price them up once have have the details
