“The report has concluded that cameras are effective in improving road safety and reducing death and serious injury on Victorian roads,” Mr Taylor said.
“It found that both the technology and systems in place around the Victorian camera program are sound and that the community can place a high degree of confidence in the accuracy and fairness of the system.
“The report has found that the siting of cameras is based on sound criteria with no consideration to revenue raising.”

the two came together. people here complain about the amount of changes in speed limits and the speed cameras. its reassuring to know it has nothing to do with revenue raising.
