My Precious!

Post by ducati_paul »

It's been a while since my Bike was painted last, it used to look great
Image Image
but it was a few years ago ... 4 maybe?
It was starting to look a bit tired with cracks and scrapes, then I got tired and had a little lie down at Turn 3 at EC
Image Image
It was looking very sad now and a bit of an embarrasment so I thought I better take my sposors stickers off (besides the fact they haven't sponsored me for 3 years) and I gave the Belly Pan a bit of a spray with some Orange paint and put my spare wheels on to match 8)
Image
Yes I know the stand is on Backwards! ... it takes up less room this way  Image
I've rung my painter up and told him I'm coming in, I'd like to go "traditional" Kwaka race colours, but I told him "just paint it, if you want to experiment go for it!" ... here's hoping I don't get a pink tartan bike
I had a scrounge around under the house to see what bits I could find and came out with two sets of spare fairings,
Image Image
hopefully between the 3 sets we can get one decent one,the middle set is the colours I'd like to have it if I had a choice but really I'm just interested in CHEAP!
Stay tuned and we'll see what it ends up looking like :kuda:

There's no decision to be made, it's gotta be green. Look'n forward to seeing her when she's done.

Can you do a wrap...??...That will save sticking a hundred band aids on it
If not give him a box of band aids and he can stick em on randomly..... :D
