Hello all,

This is an urgent one. We need thirty nominations by verified (service or member numbers) RACV members to back Professor Marcus Wigan (MRAV Patron and RACV Club & Service member) for a position on the RACV Board. Nominations are due on Friday 29th July, nominated must be under 71 and have been a member of club or service for more than three years. There are two ordinary and two service member positions available.

Not since its’ inception by four motorcycle riders has the RACV stood for the rights of motorcyclists and it’s about time they had a member on their board that had the interests of motorcycle riders at heart and the experience and knowledge necessary to instigate a change. This is of extreme importance to all of us.

For details on how to nominate, Once completed, the Nomination Form is to be forwarded to the Company Secretary no later than 5.00 pm on Friday, 29 July 2011. These forms can be mailed or delivered to Level 7, 485 Bourke Street, Melbourne 3000 or emailed toelections@racv.com.au

Thanks smitty I was just passing the message on, clearly someone has fucked up It's just trying to get some motorcycle representation back into the RACV as it's now just become another boys club really.
