This is the sort of idiot that gives us, sensible bike riders a bad name and puts a target on our back for the local constabulary to watch.Strika wrote:For anyone calling this guy a goose...go fuck yourselves! Get real people.I am just so sick of so called motorcyclists shitbagging other motorcyclists without any facts to back it up. How this guy is a goose is beyond me. 200 on a litre bike is just clicking 3rd FFS! It appears that the next generation of riders are far removed from the previous, who would have seen this and questioned the reasons why he didn't have a crack!
Go wrap yourselves up in cotton wool and get off those dangerous motorbikes before someone gets hurt!

It's out in the middle of bumfuk nowhere at 5:10pm.........Cath wrote:As a firm believer in "time and place" when it comes to speeding... That article said nothing about time and next to nothing about place. Did you have access to more details re: time and place or are you just going off that article?
Are you serious? You have a bike that can do 250km/hr in about 10 seconds and you NEVER speed AT ALL?StuMiller wrote:This is the sort of idiot that gives us, sensible bike riders a bad name and puts a target on our back for the local constabulary to watch.Strika wrote:For anyone calling this guy a goose...go fuck yourselves! Take your speed to a race track.
What happens if he fell off and hit a tree....how do you explain that to the greenies.......
Thanks Cath.....Cath wrote:For anyone making this into a generational issue... go fuck yourselves!Strika wrote:It appears that the next generation of riders are far removed from the previous
Pretty sure Fender Eliminators are illegal in TAS as they are in most states. Well that's the rules anywayStuMiller wrote:It's a public road, with rules. Stick to the rules.

I personally wouldn't do that speed in that place - the cost / benefit in this situation doesn't hit my sweet spot. But I have done silly speeds in other times and places, so I'd be a hypocrite if I got all judgemental on this dudes arse. It could've been a perfectly safe time and place and he got really unlucky, or it was a stupid spot to do it. Either way, he made the call and got caught. It's a risk most of us take, some more often than others, hey Marty
Totally agree with you Cath as well as the majority of the forum (that I have ridden with)Cath wrote:Strika wrote:So, all the safety crats and do gooders and Hi-Vis vest wearing wankers can go fuck themselves....is that less generalised now Cath????![]()
