ZX-9R Engine Case Cover
Hi
Just wondering if anyone out there knows how easy it is to replace the Left Hand Side Engine Case Cover?
Also and probably the first question that should be asked is, is there Engine Case Covers for the 9 (1999)?
If so were are they from and which is the better one or should I just replace it with an original
Cheers

Not sure if there are any after market ones available, but good luck trying to find a second hand OEM one, they are starting to get a bit thin on the ground now.

Are you after a stator cover or hardened case cover for race/track protection?
I got a stator cover off ebay last year for about $150 from the US, genuine is about $350.

I got a stock one for about $120 from Chaplain Kawasaki (I think) in the states. Fast shipping, etc, through eBay.
I think NRC or maybe FactoryPro did do a cast crash-resistant one once but they don't seem to make them any longer and I couldn't find stock of then a few years ago when I looked for one.
Good luck.

NFI, sorry mate. It was probably reasonable though as I tend not buy things where I feel shafted on postage.StevieD wrote:I've found one for 121.99, how much shipping did you pay for when you purchased yoursdave#3 wrote:I got a stock one for about $120 from Chaplain Kawasaki (I think) in the states.
