Which ZX6R Should Mel Buy Next

Go new if you can justify the coin, yes it will depreciate, but only at the same rate any other bike would. If you plan on holding onto it (5+ years)then over the time you will definitely appreciate the more modern bike. 03 doesn't seem that long ago but by the time you want to change it, you might as well track it as it won't be worth much coin.

And I reckon the new bike shits all over the old for looks and if you can't ride it you might as well look shit hot pretending too, well that is my way of thinking.

For a new bike and that trade in Id go with the 2010 Mel! Itll last you ages

'10 model unless you want to spend the different on the extra harsh suspension on the '03 model...but then the '03 is a nice roomy 6R if you like the odd road trip...

Actually that's a point, in all my warm and fuzzy memories of Jimmy (the 03), he had that Ohlins rear shock.......

Seems pretty obvious to me, get the new one. Its got all the good stuff AND heated grips.

I agree that the 03 will be worth nothing - and have half a million K's on it - by the time you sell it.

Either way you will have to make adjustments to suit you one way or the other, IMO go the 2010

Go the newer one......ull enjoy more in the long run........but yeah with 50kms on the clock id be sure that someone has taken it out for a "test" ride to see if the wheels turn......wen i got my 09ZX6 it had 4kms on the clock.....a years worth of wheeling it in and out of the shop

New one Mel, they're absolutely jam packed full of awesome and not badly priced for what you get.

So when do you pick it up and when are you going to bring it up here for a break-in run???
