Wow....u did well....i came off at 45km/h (dodgy wet tram tracks) and had more damamge then u

Sounds much like mine at turn 3 at Morgan Park except I was going about 100kmh less and I have no memory of it. I broke the two outside toes on my right foot.

I low sided at less than 1/2 that speed on my YZF750, and it was brown trousers time!

What make and model of boots were you wearing Wattie... Do you have any pics of the damage (if any) to the boots?

they were Gaerne boots, just road boots not full race boots. i will get pics.

they are about 6 years old, well worn, but never crashed in. hardly suffered any damage at all. juts scrapes on the toe slider.

Due to rider error i dropped the front as it tipped in at about 250km.hr (as per my GPS.)
have to say that is my worst fkn nightmare!! i bloody hate T1.... i could imagine things could have been much worse.. hope you heal up well wattie.

my crash was a bit early in the corner for using my knee to push myself back up...

think pedrosa in 2010 in the wet leading the race.
