oh and another "worst case" news article here, but they have got to hurry up and bring the temps down a lot to reduce the likelyhood of this happening, remote as it is now.

Yes and a good thing too as I would hate for an asshole such as myself to live forever. I was just thinking, it's a good thing Adolf Hitler didn't drink, he might have been a mean SOB.

We had Bullit bourbon the other night, wasted a few boys.... Discussion went to Steve Mc Queen and what he drove, I maintain it was a mustang not a GTO which I maintain was the car chasing and turned into a dirt bike as he jumped the wire in the movie great escape and thats why Hitler lost. anyway, there is more good bourbon to drink and another allnight argument to ponder. :D

This sort of stuff bugs me - pray for what? does it look like anything's paying attention?
If you have no fear, you're not going fast enough.

More to the original topic, I met a woman on Sunday at Port Fairy that was in the unfortunate position of currently housing a Japanese exchange student who didn't have a great grasp of english. He apparently had great concerns for his family who he has since had no contact with. All they can do is wait and hope to hear news of what has happened. :(

I hear the Japanese are notorious for "misinforming" the community in regards to reports of their nuclear facilities.

I don't know why I was so worried about the Fukushima Reactors,
we have more of a problem right here in Adelaide
According to the Scientist on ABC Radio this morning, the last of a dozen bomb test's at Maralinga was airburst.
The resultant cloud of Radiation was blown over Adelaide in an unexpected weather change and radiation levels in Adelaide were 2500 times higher than normal
It was on the grass, in the food, in the milk and even in the water ffs!
I know a few here believe everything the Gobmint say's is true....so you're off the hook really because they
never told anybody here that they were breathing eating and drinking shitloads of radioactive isotopes....and still may be!!!!!!
All the good stuff was found in the Thyroid glands of the local sheep, you know Caesium 137, Strontium 90, Iodine 131 :D
It would actually explain a lot about the local population
