Re: FMD Canary
What a heap of shit. Every morning I see at least 3 cars drive through red lights as I ride to work, and the chances are I'll be pulled over for a loud exhaust before they are pulled over for being a f**king menace.

Hey Jonno,
Try Metropolitan Spares at Silverwater NSW.
I did see a 2006 ZX12R two months ago sandwiched with other bikes as I was looking at chopping off my fender and keeping a stock one as a spare.

Re: FMD Canary
Imagine my embarrasment......sheltering a known criminal,
I mean the spray off a big 12 tyre surely rivals that of an 18 wheeler and should
require a fender that sits 2' off the ground to protect the visibility of the average cager
I'm just waiting for my place to get raided now.....
(spare 14 tail is going on for a try
....make a nice pic at least
)

Re: FMD Canary
Been looking sheepishly at anything that could be jerry-rigged like mail box lids and ice cream containers, we are trying a ZX14 fender as we speak. I have also been told they will knock back the tinted screen coz same as tinted visor at night. I will also put front side reflectors back on, rear reflector, and I'm
concerned about the LED indicators although they are "E" stamped.
With the assistance of my trusty side kick Seiko we have mounted the appropriate item to help pass the inspection

Re: FMD Canary
Well well, the drama continues.
Oh so sorry we can't take the defect off you will need to contact NSW RTA for that
But I am going to transfer reg to SA, ok then jump through some more hoops please.
Ok since SA put defect on can't you take the fukin thing off.....please.
No sir, please jump through hoops or we will call cops..
Anyway, all sorted now until inspection on Monday. Do reg transfer. Jump through the hoops like a good citizen and now the bike is completely stock std except rack and key tag so I expect to pass.
I would like to thank Hoffy for sourcing parts all over the joint, much appreciated mate
Under the hood.

Out with the old.

In with the the new

Replaced: rear fender.
Rear red reflector.
All 4x indicators.
Put stock screen on, tinted illegal at night.
Even 2x front fork orange reflectors.
I wonder if the tyre valve caps will be ok.....

Re: FMD Canary
You would say that, I dunno, makes it look all big arsed and like a barge.aardvark wrote:I happen to think it looks better like that.
Oh hang on it is a barge

I prefer it stock looking myself, although the cut tail did make it look mean.
