Rider's bike impounded during fatal weekend

Police have caught a motorcyclist speeding at 60 km/h over the limit on a popular tourist route at the weekend.
The 25-year-old Newton man was detected travelling at 140km/h along the Great Ocean Road at Aireys Inlet on Saturday morning.
He has lost his licence for 12 months and had his motorcycle impounded under the hoon legislation.
The incident follows the deaths of three motorcyclists in separate accidents on Victorian roads over the weekend.

Yeah you're right.....he is a goose! That section of road is much better at 180 than 140!

  Being conservative I was more likely!!!

It's also the reason I just don't do the GOR anymore. They have helicopters above you, cameras in the bushes, unmarked cars and binoculars to ensure no one gets hurt! If I can find it, I will post up the footage of a mate of mine losing his licence on that road. He asked the cops for the footage and he posted it on youtube!! But seriously, when you see the footage and why he lost his licence, you may start to agree that we live in a police controlled state!
