Yes.. l recieved infringment notice in the post today but.........the fine imposed of $304 is incorrect...I check on line and the fine should have been $344....soooooo..wouldn't this mean that the infringemnt notice is null & void?????I will seek legal advice..but what are your thoughts???Am i grasping at short straws

Fine amounts go up each financial year and there are always some penalties processed with incorrect values appearing on them. It doesn't cause the penalty to be void or withdrawn but you are only required to pay the amount appearing on your copy of the penalty and not the higher rate.
Fight it mate! Don't let them get a win on this one! It's not like you were doing 160 down the M4! This one is legit in my opinion.

That's the way it normally works.
Personally, I wouldn't waste my time with a lawyer over a 300 dollar fine. Unless he's a now win, no fee kind of lawyer. Not many of them around who are any good.
Steinberg will at the very least hear your case for nix before taking you on. Also will let you know if you have a decent case or if you'll be wasting your money/it be worth having a go, etc.
