Two of us headed down to take a few photo's
These are some of the better one's I took http://www.idlethreads.org/?p=476
Full set of all photo's are here http://pix.purplecow.org/?p=616 and here http://pix.purplecow.org/?p=633
Some people put some serious effort into it, I think next year I will get up earlier so I can at least make a half arsed attempt at costume... rather than just gawping atnd taking photos

Gee, thanks a lot! Although, I will admit it was cheap for me. I spent $2.75 on a bottle of red food dye at Coles & splashed it on some old clothes

Nice shots mate. What cam/lens where you using?

My hat goes off to this guy though. Very convincing zombie. His costume was simply awesome, he was chewing on raw sausages & he was foraging through bins haha

That guys face is awesome! There were quite a few people with prosthetic special effects stuff, Makes me want to Barnes on Bridge road and try molding some bits for the next one.

Most of the digital shots were taken on a cannon 5d mark II using an L series 70-200, we took a few rolls of film including some slide film for cross processing. The film was all shot using a cannon L-series 16-24. Neither of them are mine but they are very fun to play with 8)
The cross processed film turned out quite well, there are a couple up here http://pix.purplecow.org/?p=664 , they aren't my pics but it shows the cross processed effect.
We got separated as soon as the horde started moving and I had the digital, by the time we could up on burke street so I only took about 5 shots on film.
