there is another way round your problem

since you like your red 10r and don't want to get rid of it i know of a very nice 12r that is local going at a very very special price and guess what it's red

you would have the best of both worlds

get an aftermarket seat (for your arse) and a set of these (for your back/wrists)

Or get a 9

I felt more cramped sitting on the 14 than the Gumby. Mind u I had rearsets set further back than stock which helped in seating position alot!

Ride the 14 and if it feels right you'll know. But 1000 kays slabbing from PI back to Sydney in a day, the Gumby was probably more comfortable than many other sportsbikes. Blurr went halfway around Oz on his!
