Question; anyone know if the rims between the 04/05 ZX10R and the 05/06 ZX6R are interchangeable? Or any other rims between late model Kawasakis for that matter?
Cheers,
Ced

Re: Rim interchangeability
Apparently the 07-08 zx6r rims will for the 05-06 and vice versa as long as the matching spacers (and perhaps cush hubs) are used. I dunno about any of the 10 rims, but I suspect the 6" rear will be a problem - fronts might be OK.

see?? 8 mins.
the 10's are the same rear 04 onwards. fronts 06-onwards. the 04/05 have smaller front axle.

Re: Rim interchangeability
I do believe the rears on all the 10's are interchangable, but the fronts aren't due to different axle sizes (the 05 is different to the 06 at least)..
Not sure about the 6's fronts fitting the 10's, may have different axle sizes, the rears wouldn't be due to different widths. We will have a couple of 04 / 05 tens and 06 and 07 sixes at the track on Friday so we can check em if ya like..
Just looked at your sig, you can do that too..

Re: Rim interchangeability
Cheers guys,
What I ideally wanted to achieve was take my road rims off my 10 and slot my 6 rims in with slicks on them. Just wanted to know if anyone had tried this before I attempt this really f**king annoying job - who honestly likes changing rims; octopi I would suspect....

Re: Rim interchangeability
But the rims on the 10 and the 6 are different widths

The world is round. It has no point.
