What can I expect?

Post by King Nicholas »

Hello Citizens.

My brother, his friend and I will be attending the California Riding School, level 1, advanced riding course for a day.
(I do not know why they have California in their title.)
I was wondering if any of you have been before, can give me a little insight into exactly what the format of the day is, what I may learn, how good/bad it was, if you were inspired to go back and do level 2, etc.
It is this Sunday at PI and I am looking forward to it!
King Nicholas. Keeping it unreal.

Classroom lesson with Steve Brouggy, on track drill with your one-on-one trainer (as part of a small group), then de-brief with one-on-one trainer, then a rest break....then repeat 5 times.

You'll have a ball. Make sure you go in with an open mind, a good nights sleep and you'll be fine.

The "California riding school" is the one that Keith Code (who is from California) started.
They have a proven track record of teaching people how to ride.
The world is round. It has no point.

I've booked for December. Had a chat to Rob, Dave#3 and Cath about doing CSS - that's what tipped it for me :D

Use the search function - I think there are some reviews on it here.
I don't like the term insane - I prefer mentally hilarious!

yes plenty of us have
format's been covered by Ali
you will learn how to ride and steer a bike better
it is good
yes, many have

I put it off because of the cost but it is worth every cent. Pay attention and practice the drills and it will improve your riding heaps.
