Unfortunately things changed during today.

Left shoulder is weak and sore.... Struggle to hold my arm out to side or in front. ;?

Back left of neck is tight, and the middle of my middle back's been a bit sore and twitchy when I bend.
:? :?

Will go to quaks tomorrow ask re ultrasound tendon damage etc.

I'm a scrawny one..... paper man.

I am no valentino rossi or anything, so not flying around corners and shit. BUT, I still wouldn't know what was fast enough to skid out OR how long it would be before they're scuffed in. Can someone give me the heads up?Lisa
Lisa gradually lean the bike over in the first 1/2 our of riding, basically you can see when the glossy look is gone & that part of the tyre is pretty much ready to go just get a bit of heat into them before going crazy........ you are riding a heavy bike so the idea would be ..... be extra carefull as there is more weight pushing the front tyre in corners ;)

Coming to think of it i think because it dropped so early and had hardly tipped and being a tall dude i think i fell a long way and hit the ground pretty hard because of that.

Here's my view on the event

DARK BLUE = Approach
YELLOW = Desired line with gentle lean angle.
Light BLUE = Tyre lets go.
RED = Slide.

Damn man, sounds bad.

I ran in to a gutter on a gs going about 30-40km/h (not entirely sure of the exact speed) and flipped the bike as well as myself, but the forks didn't bend or anything, left side of the bike was trashed though, how the hell did yours get stuffed?

Is insurance going to cover it?

Sounds like you got a few sprains and bruises too, hope it's nothing major.

Something I need to pay attention to when getting new tyres, I had no idea how easy it is to stack with new ones on.

And where abouts did this happen?

Hope you heal up quick.

Good news went to the quacks yesterday - "muscular trauma" so just muscular strains he thinks, because I have full range of motion.

Recommended to strengthen my upper-body to better support my joints, sounds like a good idea.

Bike: Clutch lever replaced, bars still to change over.

Started her up for a minute this morning, oil light was on below 3000rpm

From reading on the net apparently when bikes drop they can get an air bubble in the engine and need to be "burped".

I've got the Motul 5100 and filter, and it's almost service time so I'll do all that this afternoon.
