Head shake

Another common one is dirt/twigs/boulders/nanny goates getting stuck between the tyre bead and the rim which knocks the balance right out of wack plus throws the tyre out of round.

I'd get the front tyre pushed off the bead , cleaned , re - balanced and try again .......

I've got the same problem at the moment between 70-80. I'm not sure whether it's the stuffed front tyre or the missing weight Either way new front going in this week and all should be sweet

Hey Steve....you bought new tyres yet? Might stop you wingeing about the headshakes! Mate, My bike does it too and most bikes I;ve ever owned had it at some speed. Usually around the 80k mark. I found that if I rode around with at least one hand on the bars, the problem disappeared!!!

+1 on the worn tire. Zzr had the same issue. I was told to change the head bearings, but it had not long had that done. Changed the tire and nothing else and it was gone.
At the risk of turning this thread into a broken record... Change your front tire.

Can also dial that out in the damping to a point. Probably tyres as yours are worn and is a bit hard to tell really whats going on.

Have you set SAGS mate? Do this first before fiddling with the damping clickers and is a must do on any bike I get at least

If it still exists after you change the front tyre are you carrying luggage bags like a gear sack? If you are then this can also be a contributing factor.

Honda had some head shake issues with some touring bikes when you rolled off the throttle. The wind can have a dramatic effect on what the bike is doing, I had an FZ1 that did it, no in a big way but noticeable when rolling off the throttle in a straight line, nothing to do with front tyre, it was just the dynamics of the bike.
