Fairings

Post by StuMiller »

I am looking for a bike to use as a track bike and was curious where you can buy fairings from to change a roadie into a trackie?

Or am I better off looking for a bike already set up as a track bike?

Racers edge or wet4u racing would be a good place to start looking

I'm in the process of doing the same thing. Also try fibrezone. Can't find their number off hand but type fibrezone and hit search. Camerons mobile should pop up somewhere ;)

I found some second hand ones which were as good as new, depending on the bike you have you might be able to pick some up too...

I found them through formula extreme http://www.formula-xtreme.com.au/xtreme ... s!openform

There are also tonnes of track bikes / race bikes for sale on there...

From 3k up to 14k... The average seems to be about 8k though... you can get a kickass bike with 8k spent on it for that :)
The world is round. It has no point.

I've bought all my fairings from Race Glass, no problems with service or quality

Best bet is to buy a dedicated track bike, this one looks perfect for you (or if you prefer my R1 will be for sale very soon)
