Re: broken the cherry PITS
Yeah, I'm totally fine. I just tipped the bike over (was almost stopped) in one of those stupidly annoying "incidents".
Too much lean, too much brake and couldn't reach the ground with my foot and over she went. A number of factors didn't help (new tight gloves, frozen numb fingers, etc), but it was just me not being careful enough.
Bike has some minor scratches on the peg, bar end and lever. No biggie. But I admit, I was in a bit of a foul mood until hanging with my mates at PITS jollied me out of it

yeah - what he said.
If you have no fear, you're not going fast enough.
Never argue with an idiot. He'll drag you down to his level, then beat you with experience.

Re: broken the cherry PITS
Thanks for all the encouragement - really really enjoyed today. Gave me a little more confidence with my riding but reinforced that I need to do it way more often and get more experience.
Must confess to feeling really unfit - have to work on my fitness during the shrinking leathers comp
Will also make more of an effort to introduce myself to more of you - might as well work on crowd skills while working on the riding skills

I don't like the term insane - I prefer mentally hilarious!
