Life's journey is not to arrive safely at the grave in a well preserved body. But rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting ...Holy shit...What a ride!

Re: Time to ride from Cronulla to Townhall [Peak Hour]
man and here i was annoyed about a 3 monther. Then again i was caught at 48 and the cop shaved 4km/h off as i was honest about it ( i.e. "I meant to speed, there's no two ways about it. But damn i didn't mean to go that fast!") Only good thing that came of that was i hit exactly 12 points so had a probationary license for a year and got all my points back. that was a LOOOONG year.

Re: Time to ride from Cronulla to Townhall [Peak Hour]
Years ago i used to commute from Cronulla to St Leonards every day on a KLR 250
i treated it like a race every morning.
Along the grand parade i would use peoples lawns, the median strip and sometimes i would just use the oncoming lane (when it was empty) to get around traffic.
to be honest it was a stupid way to ride and i got burnt a couple times but it would save me nearly an hour in the mornings
I was a lot younger then though so thats my excuse
I wouldnt have the balls to ride in traffic like that now.
No ideas about the commute to the city now.
especially since i dont live there no more
