I am trying to track down a set of kr 750 con rods can anyone out there help?

Tried a similar query with VJMC?
What about searching Kawasaki triples?
On the off chance and not being a smart arse, what about an enquiry through Kawasaki Australia?
Short of finding the original you may have to look at having them custom made.

- Mate - good luck with your search. There were maybe 2 or 3 KR 7fiddys in Australia *ever* - so the chances of tracking down a full set of new con-rods are pretty long I imagine....

The H2's had a bore/stroke of 71 x 63, whereas the KR's were 68 x 68 as far as I can recall, so the rod length on the KR's is probably a tad longer than the H2's.

You may get some better info and sources from the website that Ado has posted - its the best website for triples.

KR750... Unlikely to find anything in Australia. As Gos pointed out, only 1 or 2 were ever here !
There were a lot more (& spares...) sent to the good old USA !

no worries Martin - I am rather intrigued as to *why* you are needing a set of KR750 rods in the first place ? Do you have one of the old TKA 7fiddy's ?? Would have to be one of the most desirable 70's racers out there......I have seen home-made water-cooled cylinders fitted to the H2 motor in years gone by.....

I was trying to get rods for a friend in UK who is restoring a KR 750. He had been told (incorrectly obviously) that they were fairly common in Aus in 70's and as I am bike mechanic he thought I may have contacts that could help.

Hmmm... from memory (hey, it was ..."the 70's" )
The only H2R ( 3 or 4 bikes ) & KR750 ( possibly 2 bikes ) belonged to Team Kawasaki Australia .
The 750's were never sold to "privateers" ... unlike TZ Yamahas..
The H1RA ( 500cc)....there were about 5 privateer bikes sold/racing here !
TKA/Neville Doyle modified H2 road bike barrels for his H2Rs.These were the fastest/most successful in the world.
Kawasaki sent factory rider Wada on the first KR750 to race here, at Bathurst...
Japan, was very interested...after Gregg Hansford on the "old" air cooled H2R screamed past Wada..
