GPS tracking

Post by waynemorgan »

Hi everyone,

For those of you interested in GPS applications / Googlemaps / Google Earth etc I've found a neat little application for Symbian S60 based mobile phones with either an external bluetooth GPS or internal receiver.

http://3dtracking.net/products.html have a free version for personal use. Install it on your phone - start it up at the start of your trip, stop it when finished and upload the deatils to their website which will open it on Google Maps/Earth (your choice).

I've not played around with it to see everything it does but it certainly saves your route. I'm hoping it will also do max speed, avg speed etc but will have to explore it a bit more.

Pretty good for the price!

Cheers, :D
