Born2Xlr8's ZZR250 *ongoing project*

hi all,, here are some photos of my ZZR250,

i will be getting a few things for it straight away like a new clutch and hand break leavers, and right side peg,
but other than that ill probably be repairing the fairings and giving it a coat of paint ect,

so if your interested stay tuned as ill be up dating it as i go,, as well as asking for opinions and ideas ect,

what's with the "DENSO" stickers? Denso was the aircon in my toyota celica........... must be more to it

Denso make a bunch of automotive stuff from aircons, to fuel management and electronics. It was probably fitted with some denso coils or plugs, and the previous owner thought the stickers looked good :roll:

yea i've seen a crazy DENSO supra rippin up a drift track in a random jap vid... think they had a denso supra in gran turismo 8)

ok so out of interest, just wondering what peoples opinions were if i painted it green? and dont ask what green u know what green >.<, because i know that people kinda count the green as a ninja color, and was thinking that it may be a bit of a nono,,

Mate, save your money and spend it on something you will enjoy a little more.

I had a FZR-R250 and I used this to gain confidence, road skills and above all learn the craft of bike riding. I kept it for twelve months, then sold it and spent extra money on my next bike, a ZX7.

Nice starting point though..... :kuda:

Keep in mind, if you plan on selling it later, will it generate any interest being green?

Have a go and keep the photos coming, I'd be interested in seeing what it come up like.

yeah thats a good point, ive been told that the majority of people arent interested in bikes that are factory looking? is that the case?
